Save the picture from the share panel, then choose it inside WeChat, Moments or Rednote and post it yourself. Copy the caption separately if wanted. Selecting a platform does not publish anything or contact friends. The default is a life data card; an ending also offers a 3:4 card built around one recorded moment.
Choose a summary or a particular moment
Use the default data card for a quick overview. To tell a more specific story after an ending, switch to One moment, select an event from the actual record, optionally add your own sentence and generate a preview. Check both the picture and its wording before saving.
The illustration is symbolic, not a photograph of a real event. It does not establish a city, house or family background missing from the record. A sentence you deliberately add becomes visible in the exported image, even though it is not added to the invitation URL.
Send it in WeChat or post to Moments
Select WeChat or Moments in the panel and save the current image. In WeChat, choose that image in the intended conversation or the Moments publishing interface. Paste a copied caption if wanted. The final send or publish action happens in WeChat, under your control.
On desktop, save the file and transfer it to your phone or use your usual desktop messenger. If a mobile browser cannot download it, try pressing and holding the preview. Copying a caption does not also save the image: text and picture are separate steps.
Prepare a Rednote image post
Choose the Rednote channel and edit the suggested caption. Save a data card or generate the optional 3:4 ending card, open Rednote, create an image post, select the saved picture and paste your wording. Review the post before deciding its title, audience and publication.
Forked Lives does not sign in to your social account or report a successful post on your behalf. Describe it as a simulated life and mention a choice you found surprising. That makes the story easier to understand than an unexplained set of final numbers.
What the QR invitation actually carries
The QR code opens a same-start challenge containing the simulated seed, origin date, draw method and rules version, with optional outcome numbers for comparison. A friend begins again and chooses the later path. It does not resume at the exact year where you stopped.
The invitation excludes the full timeline, private notes, wishes and real-world birthplace. It also does not expose your local shelf. Use a full save transfer or JSON backup when the goal is continuing your own progress on another device.
When the system menu does not appear
System sharing depends on the device and browser. Handing content to its share sheet is not proof that a platform received or published it. If file sharing fails or you cancel, use the copy-link and save-image controls, then send them manually.
Inside WeChat, its page menu may also offer page sharing; save the image separately. Review the final visible picture, caption and link. A public invitation never requires publishing the private JSON backup that would contain more of your life record.
