Germany: birth odds and 20 country-data indicators

Read 20 World Bank WDI reference indicators for Germany, each with its year, unit and source. Game birthplace weights are separate, and averages do not determine an individual life.

How to read this page

Germany’s GDP per person uses purchasing power parity and constant 2021 international dollars. It is not a current euro salary. Urbanization, agricultural employment and education also have distinct definitions; check units and years before comparing countries.

Stable work, study or a family responsibility in the game has no outcome guaranteed by those averages. A pre-decision snapshot helps compare two simulated paths, not prove how people in a country live.

Bring the reference back to a fictional life

These 20 measures are verifiable environmental references, not a checklist of events a character must experience. They are not all fed directly into the current game engine. One fictional life cannot represent a country, and averages do not determine a person’s lifespan, career or happiness.

The play link draws a random origin using your selected sampling method; it does not guarantee this country. Read different references, then try a random beginning. To revisit a particular decision, branch from a saved choice.
