Bangladesh: birth odds and 20 country-data indicators

Read 20 World Bank WDI reference indicators for Bangladesh, each with its year, unit and source. Game birthplace weights are separate, and averages do not determine an individual life.

How to read this page

The early-marriage indicator on the Bangladesh page concerns women ages 20–24 first married by 18. It is not a proportion of all children or a simulated person’s chance of marrying this year. HIV, tobacco and education measures also have their own age, sex and denominator definitions.

Reading the definition first helps separate background conditions from a game decision. The current engine does not feed all 20 displayed reference indicators directly into character events. A shared origin can still support different narrative paths through focus and choices.

Bring the reference back to a fictional life

These 20 measures are verifiable environmental references, not a checklist of events a character must experience. They are not all fed directly into the current game engine. One fictional life cannot represent a country, and averages do not determine a person’s lifespan, career or happiness.

The play link draws a random origin using your selected sampling method; it does not guarantee this country. Read different references, then try a random beginning. To revisit a particular decision, branch from a saved choice.
